Itinerary
Begin in Zurich before exploring the Alsace region with visits to Colmar and Mulhouse. Cross back into Switzerland to discover Basel, then venture into Germany’s Black Forest with stops in Freiburg and Baden-Baden. Explore Strasbourg and Metz before toasting in Reims, the heart of Champagne. Discover Paris before gliding to London on the Eurostar for an unforgettable finale.
1st Day: Canada – Tokyo
Ready to discover the spectacular towns and landscapes of Switzerland, Alsace, the Black Forest, Paris and London? Arrive at your departure airport, ready to catch a flight to Zurich*. Night on board.
*If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
2nd Day: Zurich
Touch down in Zurich, famous for being a global center of finance on the north shore of a beautiful lake. Self-transfer* to your hotel**.
The rest of the day is free to enjoy at your leisure. Why not walk around the historic old town and enjoy a beverage in one of the many cafes, or sample an international array of gastronomic offerings from restaurants across the city? Overnight stay in Zurich.

3rd Day: Zurich – Colmar – Mulhouse – Basel
Breakfast at the hotel. Set off from your Zurich hotel and head to the French village of Colmar, known for its picturesque canals. Walk along the quai de la Poissonnerie and its colorful half-timbered houses. Continue on to Mulhouse, where you will visit the Place de la Réunion. Given its industrial past, Mulhouse has been nicknamed “the French Manchester” or the “city with a hundred chimneys.”
Head next to Basel, crossing back into Switzerland for the evening. Enjoy the historic landmarks of the city including the large market square with its richly decorated red sandstone town hall and the late Romanesque-Gothic cathedral. Overnight stay in Basel.

4th Day: Basel – Freiburg am Breisgau – Baden Baden – Strasbourg
Breakfast at the hotel. Start the day’s adventures in Freiburg Im Breisgau. Situated in Germany’s iconic Black Forest, charming Freiburg im Breisgau has a small but picturesque old town with the towering Freiburg Minster, historic town halls, and fantastic beer gardens. Enjoy the time to experience the loveliness of this historic university city.
Head next to Baden Baden. It was once known as the summer town of Europe’s nobility, with lots of open space and Belle Époque homes, gentle rolling rivers, and lots of health and wellness resorts. Cross into Strasbourg, France, for the evening, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Black Forest. Overnight in Strasbourg.

5th Day: Strasbourg – Metz
Breakfast at the hotel. Stretch your legs with a walking tour around Strasbourg. Visit the Cathedral Notre Dame de Strasbourg and walk around the Petite-France area. Wander down whichever cobblestone alleyways strike your fancy, crossing over the bridges along the canals and popping into any interesting shops.
In the afternoon, head to Metz. See the Temple Neuf, Centre Pompidou-Metz, the Cathédrale de Metz, the Porte des Allemands, Torii Japonais, the Maison de l’Éclusier, the Gare de Metz-Ville, and the Porte Serpenoise. Metz is also an amazing place to explore the world of street art! Overnight in Metz.

6th Day: Metz – Reims – Paris
Breakfast at the hotel. Say goodbye to Metz and continue on to Reims, in the heart of France’s Champagne region. Visit GH Mumm Champagne and enjoy a guided tour of the cellars followed by a tasting of Mumm Cordon Rouge, an emblematic Mumm champagne. After the tasting, head to Paris, the emblematic capital of France. Overnight stay in Paris.

7th Day: Paris
Breakfast at the hotel. Get to know the City of Light on a panoramic sightseeing tour by bus with a professional English-speaking guide. See Paris’s best-known sights, from Place Vendôme, Place de l’Opera, and the Pantheon to Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower. As this is your last day in France, be sure to take full advantage! Try visiting the Louvre* as one of our optional excursions in the afternoon, or just bring a baguette and some cheese to a picturesque Parisian park. Overnight in Paris.
*Optional Louvre Museum & Cruise on the Seine: Get two fun activities all in one! Visit the Louvre to admire some great works of art, plus hop on a boat and cruise down the Seine, taking in the Parisian skyline from the water.
8th Day: Paris – London
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, self-transfer to Paris train station to take the famous Eurostar train to London. This is a seamless, high-speed journey that takes you through the Channel Tunnel, offering a smooth transition from the charm of the French capital to the vibrant energy of London in just over two hours. The Eurostar is a modern, state-of-the-art train that reaches speeds of up to 186 mph (300 km/h), connecting two of Europe’s most iconic cities with comfort and efficiency.
Arrive in London and self-transfer to the hotel. London is the capital and largest city of England and the United Kingdom. Located on the banks of the River Thames, London has been an important human settlement since it was founded by the Romans originally named Londinium almost two millennia ago. London is a global city, one of the nerve centers in the arts, commerce, education, maintenance, fashion, finance, media, research, tourism and transport. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the city. Overnight stay in London.
9th Day: London
Breakfast at the hotel. See the city from a different perspective today with a sightseeing cruise along the River Thames!* Take in the views of several of the capital’s most emblematic riverside landmarks, such as the London Eye and the Tower of London, while listening to entertaining onboard commentary.
Take the afternoon to enjoy the capital at your leisure. Why not go shopping along Oxford Street or Carnaby Street, stroll along the vibrant South Bank, or visit Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guards? We also recommend joining our optional afternoon tea for a true taste of English tradition.** Overnight stay in London.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Take this time to soak up the beauty of London, or even venture beyond the city. It’s a great opportunity to pick up some souvenirs and explore the many pubs and eateries the city has to offer.
Alternatively, we recommend joining our optional full-day excursion to Windsor, Stonehenge & Bath,* or opting for a shorter tour that focuses on Stonehenge alone.* Overnight stay in London.
*Optional Full-Day Tour: Windsor, Stonehenge & Bath: This history-packed tour takes you about an hour from central London to Windsor, where you’ll visit the famous castle. Discover its lavish rooms, ornate ceilings, the iconic Round Tower, and picturesque grounds. It’s easy to see why Windsor Castle remains a favored residence of the royal family.
Next, head to Stonehenge, the mysterious and world-renowned megalithic monument. Marvel at the massive sarsen and bluestone pillars, an incredible feat of prehistoric engineering accomplished over 5,000 years ago.
Finally, arrive in Bath, a charming city on the River Avon. Enjoy free time to explore, admire Georgian architecture, and feel as though you’ve stepped into the world of Bridgerton or Northanger Abbey. Before returning to London, you’ll have time to visit the Roman Baths and the Pump Room, where you can taste the famous spa waters believed to have healing properties.
**Optional Stonehenge Tour: Without a doubt, a visit to Stonehenge is a must. Head west to Salisbury Plain and spend around two hours exploring this centuries-old wonder. Known worldwide for its megalithic stone circle and the enduring mystery of how and why it was built, this UNESCO-listed site is truly awe-inspiring.
11th Day: London – Canada
Breakfast* at the hotel. At the indicated time, self-transfer** to the airport for a flight back to Canada. Arrive in Canada*** and end your extraordinary trip.
